1. Left Nostril Breathing - This may sound a little strange, but it’s a practice from Kundalini Yoga that literally, you can do anytime, anywhere and get great results. With your right palm facing to the left, place your thumb on your right nostril so that you can only breathe in and out of your left nostril. Keeping your mouth closed, breathe deeply in and out of your left nostril 20 times. You’ll feel the calming effects after just 1 inhale and exhale!
2. Do TruAwareness - TruAwareness is a unique process that gives you insight and clarity as well as an emotional release. Use it the next time you fell stressed or overwhelmed or just need insight or clarity.
3. Get out into Nature - Nature offers natural healing and centering benefits. You have to actually be out in nature to reap them, though. So when weather and location permits, get into a grassy area and take your shoes and socks off so that you are barefoot in the grass. so you can physically connect with Mother Earth. She has a unique way of cleansing and detoxing the stress from your mind and body.
4. Energy Breathing - Breathe in deeply for a count of 5, then hold that breath for a count of 15. Exhale the same breath for an even count of 10. You’ll notice a balancing and energizing effect.
5. Acupressure points - This is a movement from my All You’ve Ever Known DVD. There are 2 acupressure points about one handwidth below your collar or clavicle bone. They are in the middle of each side, or half way between the side of your body and the middle of your body. When you start pressing, you’ll notice they have a sensitivity to them. Rub them in either direction for 10 -15 seconds and you’ll notice a clearing and balancing sensation.
