It’s Party Time
I cannot believe that the summer is over. I am starting to think about the winter already. I do look forward to the winter time though because that is the time that I throw parties. I think it is great to have parties in the winter when it is darker and colder and people tend to get less happy about everything. It is a great time to have drinks and lovely comfort food and I have some recipes for spicy cocktails and warm food which always go down really well. I will be sorting out the Halloween party invitations first as that is the first party that I will have. It will be fancy dress of course and it tends to be quite popular. I usually send out my Christmas party invitations very soon afterwards as I know that people get really booked up around this time and so it is good to give them a lot of warning first. They can then either plan around it or decline quite quickly. It is normally not so well attended but still loads of fun. I always find that it really gets me in the mood for the holiday season and gives me plenty to think about when I might otherwise be moping about.
